The duo Princesse is blowing a new wind on the French song scene.
Native from Paris 18th district, Alfred and Aurélien break the boundaries of genres by distilling a hybrid music between rap and melodious pop songs. They tell their adventures of young Parisians, between ambition, disillusionment, love story and love of women. Forged in the music of Stan Getz, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Kanye West or the French Orelsan and Lomepal, they decide to start writing.
On their latest project, the Rose Doll EP released on March 4th 2022, the duo sings about the city, life, women and love. The one we win, the one we lose, the one of the impulses and the one of the waves in the soul. Between sung passages, declaimed lyrics, piano-voice, electronic productions and percussive snares, Rose Doll is listened to like an exhilarating waltz and immerses us from its first moments in a cocoon of melancholy.
